Workplace Communications Class

Mahtomedi High School (MHS) students in the Workplace Communications class had a special guest this week, Principal Justin Hahn. During the visit, Principal Hahn shared his perspective as a hiring manager (he hires and supervises over 100 employees at MHS). He explained what he looks for in a resume or cover letter and how applicants can make themselves stand out. Students are currently writing resumes and cover letters, and they asked lots of questions about what they can do to maximize their chances of getting hired.

The Workplace Communications class at MHS is open to 11th and 12th-grade students and focuses on honing essential communication skills to thrive in the modern workplace.
