Congratulations to Mahtomedi High School Class of 2024 student, Victoria Nelson on being named the 2024 Athena Award winner!
Victoria is a three-sport athlete, participating in Hockey, Softball, and Soccer. Academic achievements for Victoria include an Academic Letter, Academic All-State, and she is a 4-time High Honor Roll recipient. Victoria’s school activities include National Honor Society, Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA), and Rocket Team. As a community volunteer, Victoria shares her time as a 10U Marauders Student Coach and a volunteer at St. Jude of the Lake Church.

The St. Paul Athena Awards program honors outstanding female high school seniors for their achievements in Minnesota State High School League athletics. The Athena award has been given since 1995 and honors one Athena athlete from each high school in the Twin Cities. The award is based on excellence in individual sports or for participation and accomplishments in team sports.
