Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) students have a visible presence around our school by exploring their 21st-century business skills inside and outside the classroom. In 2023, MHS DECA students launched the school's first school store. In January, students in DECA will begin competitions in two categories - Job Application and Role Play. Students receive a scenario and get 10 minutes to prepare a 7-minute presentation to the judges. The skills that students build through these experiences will stay with them long after they leave MHS. Students who are interested in DECA simply need to register for a course in the Business CTE Pathway for the next school year to be able to participate in DECA.
